Earphones are fairly convenient, but what about sharing your favorite music, and what about a bit of freedom from loose wiring when circumstances call for swift mobility? Designer Adam Silverstein responds to these concerns with “Air Phones,” a set of adjustable speakers that employ wireless technology with a twist.
Featuring a minute wireless transmitter that plugs in your mp3 player or mobile, the intelligent concept can detect your proximity to its speakers, sharply activating the closest one to your location. It employs a modular system for mounting the speakers anywhere inside or outside your home, or even on your personal gear such as your backpack. And if you are still not convinced, the bright design boosts your listening experience even further with its luminous LEDs built in its speakers.
It is probably the most entertaining stalker ever.
And unlike headphones this interactive, listening experience can be shared with those around you. Hook your mp3 player onto the cradle to boost the wireless signal, and activate all the speakers at once. (instablogs)
